Chef Ippy owns and operates a restaurant on his native Island of Hawaii "The Big Island" (or "The Best Island" as Chef Ippy likes to say). The restaurant is located in the Waikoloa resort area and showcases Chef Ippy's "Hawaiian Comfort Cuisine" while always utilizing   

the freshest local product available.  As a Native Hawaiian, born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii, Chef Ippy has built a personal relationship with local farmers, fishermen and hunters allowing him to utilize the island's culinary splendors.

Ippy's Hawaiian BBQ is a nod to Chef Ippy's  Dad's "Hawaiian Plate Lunch" restaurant where he spent a large part of his growing up years .  Located in the "Queens' Marketplace" foodcourt (but his fare is far from fast-food) in the Waikoloa Resort area, everything is made fresh and from local ingredients whenever possible.  Ippy's Hawaiian BBQ gives customers a taste of what "Plate Lunch" in Hawaii originally was.  From mouth watering "Kalbi Short Ribs" and "Fork Tender Kalua Pig" to "Grilled Mahi Salads" with local mixed greens, Ippy's Hawaiian BBQ takes pride in bringing the cultural "Mixed" "Hawaiian Plate Lunch" to everyone. Come on down to Ippy's Hawaiian BBQ and "Taste Hawaii, Taste the Islands, Taste Aloha!"
